Downtown Lincoln.


Downtown Lincoln Association represents hundreds of businesses downtown and the many awesome people who have made Downtown the heart of the city. Archrival was tasked by them to revamp the brand personality to better reflect the vibrant, full of life reality that is Downtown Lincoln.

The logo mark I designed brings to light the fact that despite being small in terms of building sizes, Downtown Lincoln has big character. The minimal style of the logo and brand are meant to work harmoniously, give organization and most importantly not overpower the many great things of downtown itself. The logo humbly compliments the many interesting things around it.

A diverse brand pattern mirrors the grid-structure of Downtown Lincoln and hints to all it offers; I began an ever-expanding icon system for the organization to use in specific moments and locations such as arts, music, retail and food.
